
1 1/2 cups
of whole wheat pastry flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
1/2 a teaspoon of salt
1 1/4 cup of rolled oats
1 1/2 cup of raisins
1 cup of chopped walnuts
1 cup of chopped pecans
1 cup of chopped almonds
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, hulled
1/2 cup of sesame seeds
1/2 pound of butter, softened
1/2 cup of natural peanut butter
2 eggs
1 cup of honey
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder,
cinnamon, ginger and salt. Stir in oats, raisins, nuts and seeds.
In a seperate bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter,
eggs and honey. Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
For each cookie, drop 1/4 cup of dough on a greased
or non-sticking baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees
for 18 minutes until lightly browned and semi-firm.
Makes 2 dozen large cookies.
